Organic Dried Figs

Pin It Fancy

The Raw Greek Organic Dried Figs are proudly amongst The Great Taste 2 star winners of 2016.

Great Taste values taste above all else, with no regard for branding and packaging.  All entries are blind tasted by some of the 500 refined palates on the judge’s panel. Judges include food critics, chefs and cooks, restaurateurs, food writers, journalists and food buyers for Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason and Harvey Nichols.

Judges commented that our Organic Dried Figs were “"Beautifully soft and moist with the wonderful crunch of seeds. Great moisture, a wonderful muscovado deep sweet hit."

We have searched far and wide to bring to the UK what we believe to be the best Organic dried figs Greece has to offer.  Being awarded 2 stars by the Great Taste judges has confirmed that we have a product of great quality and above all great taste!

We are thrilled with the results!

Figs are a wonderfully unique fruit, they are soft and sweet with a smooth skin, chewy flesh and are filled with tiny crunchy edible seeds. Fresh they have the shortest life span of all the fruits in the supermarket and once harvested they only last about a week. Because figs are so perishable the majority of them are dried, creating a nutritious dried fruit available throughout the year.

Our Dried figs are from Greece where they are dried on the tree in the sun and picked and packaged in the same day with no extra processing. They are sweet, soft and chewy.
