Thick Carob Shake

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 frozen bananas (peel and freeze bananas from the night before)
  • 1 large handful of brazil nuts (can substitute cashews, hazelnuts or almonds)
  • 1 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1-2 glasses of water
  • 2 tbsp carob powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder/extract (optional)

In a blender blend 1 cup of water with the nuts of your choice until you have a smooth creamy liquid.

Add the frozen bananas and blend again until the bananas are blended into the liquid.

Finally throw into the blender the remaining ingredients, add more water if you prefer a runnier shake. Process again until everything is blended and you are left with a thick creamy, chocolatey shake.

Pour into a tall glass and sip through a straw whilst enjoying the sunshine :-)
